In This Moment Chicago reviews
The Best Concert I've Been To So Far
Having been fans of both In This Moment and Sleep Token (who opened up for ITM), I was beyond thrilled to be able to experience their live show. To say that I was blown away would be an understatment. From the fantastic stage production, lighting, and theatrics, to the excitement from the crowd and the undeniable stage presence of all the muscians - this concert was more than that, it was a religious experience, a magical moment in time that refuses to let you go until it's concluded, and even then so it sticks with you. In This Moment and Sleep Token, as well as the Cherry Bombs and Nothing More (two other opening acts) came to make us, as an audience, feel every word, and every sound they released into the open, and I'd say they did a superb job. I cannot wait to experience them live again.
Good show but was disappointed
First, the show started off with a dance group, which I wasn't expecting. I go to a rock concert wanting to see rock bands perform. They set off the fire alarm and we all got evacuated, which I felt comical. Sleep Token went on next. They were OK. I wouldn't have cared if I missed them. Nothing More stole the show. Its great to see how much they have grown as musicians and entertainers. Seen them multiple times and this show blew away their previous performances. I was a little let down by In This Moment. My first time seeing them. I expected more. There was really no light show at all, the setlist was short and I was annoyed by Maria changing her outfit every single song. They could have easily played 2-3 more songs. The best part of their show was the amazing drum solo.
Amazing
I took 3 of my daughters, ages 12, 14, and 18 they went to see Black Vail Brides, when I saw In this Moment was playing with them I was excited and by the end my girls fell in love with ITM. The next year ITM was playing Reno again on my daughters 15th birthday and i got the tickets paid for hotel and at last minute couldnt get a car to go so we sadly missed out, here they are coming again to Reno and this time we will make it. We cant wait. We loveITM so much and it was the best first concert for my girls.
